This is a short video posted by nominated individuals where they donate £100 to the charity, nominate three other people and dunk a bucket of cold, ice-filled water over themselves. There have been some wacky, creative and individual entries seen and has inspired a huge percentage of the population to do it too, some even stemming off into other charities.
So far, over 1,000 celebrities have taken part and thousands of other people have also completed it as well, raising over one hundred million pounds. There are thousands of videos infecting social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Vine, and some of them have even established themselves as viral legendary videos that we’ll remember forever. It is a great way to raise awareness and generate funding.
