Reactivation as an admin call? Oh yes!

What if we told you there was a way to call EVERYONE on your recently lapsed list and double your success rate when compared to a standard marketing reactivation call?

There is – and it’s about making sure your reactivation call is classed as an admin call.

Firstly, there is no marketing on this call at all. It is a short, simple and completely non-promotional call to a supporter or donor to check that they were aware their support has lapsed – either as a result of a cancelled bank payment (with no reason provided) or a no-show payment. In either case the supporter has not informed you that they are withdrawing their support.

And – this works best with targeting those supporters and donors who have cancelled in the last two to four weeks, perhaps after a BACS run; a prompt follow-up call shows that you are a charity that really cares about the support previously provided, and that it is highly valued.

No TPS is required for this call, no promotion is involved, no different memberships or levels of support can be offered, it is a simple reactivation request.

The success rate? 20% of calls are resulting in a sign-up with an average gift of £4.30.
