Each year, we face the almost impossible task of selecting one individual for our Most Outstanding Fundraiser Award—an honor that recognizes the fundraiser who embodies excellence, dedication, and impact in their work.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that the Phyllis Woodley Award for 2024 goes to Sharon Evans.
The Phyllis Woodley Award holds a special place in our hearts. Phyllis was a fundraiser who worked at QTS many years ago, and her spirit continues to inspire us. She represented everything QTS stands for: genuine conversations, meaningful connections, and unwavering commitment to making a difference through every single call.
Sharon exemplified these values throughout the year. She consistently went above and beyond, striving for excellence in every conversation she had. Her ability to engage donors, raise additional funds, and create memorable experiences is a testament to her talent and dedication. Sharon truly made every call count.
While Sharon’s achievement is remarkable, it’s worth highlighting the entire QTS team. Together, we achieved something extraordinary in 2024. Across the UK, we raised millions of pounds for charities and helped recruit thousands of regular givers, members, and lottery players. These results reflect the collective effort, passion, and determination of everyone at QTS.
